2) I decided that this would be a good exit strategy because I know that this is something that I am passionate about, and I want to be able to impact as many people with my financial service as I can in the time that I am working. It is important to me to be able to train new advisors to support my values in helping many clients in many different locations as I mentioned.
3) I believe that this decision clearly reflects that I value my clients and how I want to make a positive impact on them through my service. I really enjoy my venture and I hope to be able to do it for as long as I can reaching as many people as I can as well.
Hello Derek, absolutely love your responses and your true passion for finance. There is a need for people like you and for people who like finance as well, since it is a very hard field to learn and master. Definitely a big thing to keep in mind is to be self sustaining which you have figured out. I am glad you would not sell your firm to someone to take over and leave it in your hands always. I wish you the best and I hope you live out your passion and dream. Check out my blog when you can: http://kmglickman.blogspot.com/

ReplyDeleteHey Derek,
ReplyDeleteI like your plan and I think it's smart to first work for a firm before you go on your own. Also people will always need help financially so opening more branches up will help. I also would like to hold on to my company as long as possible and hand it down to my next generation. Here's a link to my blog.

Hey Derek,
ReplyDeleteI believe you have a great mindset for the future. I think you have the right idea about getting more experience before going out and expanding your business. Not only will you have gained more knowledge, but also the skills needed to see your business thrive from thereon out. I wish you the best of luck with your business in the future. Way to go! Here's mine: http://cindyblogs4u.blogspot.com/2016/04/my-exit-strategy.html
Does your exit strategy revolve around you staying with the business you created for awhile and then moving on? If so, I think this would be a good idea because then you can hands on train any employees you have. It would also be a good idea to expand your company to other areas.
